End of Year SMARTR Outcome

By the end of the 2016-2017 school year, at least 80% of students in Grades 1-2 will achieve grade-level reading proficiency as monitored by the DRA2. By the end of the 2016-2017 school year, at least 90% of students in Grades 3-6 will achieve grade-level reading proficiency as monitored by the DRA2.

Strategy 1

  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and interdependently within a group to promote learning, increase productivity, and achieve common goals.

Strategy 2

  • Provide opportunities for students and teachers to build relationships and a community of readers and writers through ongoing conversations about books, and purposeful writing workshops.

End of Year SMARTR Outcome

By June 2017, 75% of Gap Group 2 students in grades 1-6 will demonstrate proficiency in Number and Number Sense on the Grade Level Common End of the Year Assessment.

Strategy 1

  • Provide Academic Support to our Gap Group 2 students to increase their proficiency in Number and Number Sense and build a strong math foundation.

Strategy 2

  • Increase Access to Rigor for our Gap Group 2 students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
