READING BY 3RD GRADE      AREA 1
Outcomes       
● The percentage of Students with Disabilities in grades K-3 meeting or exceeding the VALLSS benchmarks will increase by 5 percentage points from fall 2024 to spring 2025. 
● The percentage of students in grades K-3 meeting or exceeding the VALLSS benchmarks will increase by 5 percentage points from fall 2024 to spring 2025. 
        
Strategies       
● Improve daily, systematic, explicit instruction in phonological awareness, phonics, and morphology by using the new core curriculum.
● Increase use of data to plan instruction and monitor progress during intervention to ensure that students demonstrating risk master foundational skills.
● Improve integrity of implementation of new core curriculum, English Language Development program, and/or intervention programs by using FCPS-adopted resources with fidelity.
  
        
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MATH      AREA 2
Outcomes       
● By the end of the 2024-25 school year the percentage of Students with Disabilities passing the Grades 3-6 Mathematics SOL will increase from 36% to 41%.

● By the end of the 2024-25 school year the percentage of students passing the Grades 3-6 Mathematics SOL will increase from 68% to 73%.
 
        
Strategies       
● Increase teachers' content knowledge and implementation of the 2023 FCPS mathematics program of studies.
● Increase teacher implementation of explicit instruction and other components of effective mathematics intervention.
● Increase teacher's implementation of strategies and conversation structures that increase academic talk between students related to Shift 4: from show and tell to share and compare.
  
        
CHRONIC ABSENTEEISM      AREA 3
Outcomes       
● By June 2025, our school will reduce its chronic absenteeism rate to less than or equal to 10% for all students, from our current rate of 14.3% in June 2024.
        
Strategies       
● Teachers will promote student engagement and create a welcoming classroom environment by modeling social and emotional competencies in their interactions with students.
● Schools will implement practices to recognize good and improved attendance to reinforce attendance and strengthen student and family engagement.
● MTSS Schoolwide and Site Intervention teams analyze attendance along with behavior and wellness data bi-monthly to identify students in need of Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions.
