School Communication

A newsletter will be emailed each Wednesday evening with important information for families in our
GBE Happenings News You Choose. Administration will use E-Notify to send timely updates around
health, safety, testing, or any other urgent communication for families. Wednesday folders will be sent
home each week for families to review. GBE is active on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Please
follow our pages! Mr. Pietzman will also host families each third Friday of the month during a
Concurrent Coffee. He will share timely updates and present information to share. Families can
participate virtually or view a video link provided later in the day through E-notify.

Classroom Communication

Staff will engage with our families through multiple modes of communication. Please allow 24 hours
for any response to email. For an urgent message, families can call our front office at 703-633-6400
and our staff will communicate the message to the classroom.

PTA Communication

The PTA will communicate each Friday through a newsletter using News You Choose. The PTA is also
active on Facebook. Families can join our monthly meetings on the third Thursday of each month.
