Fairfax County Public Schools offers several summer camps:

  • Tech Adventure Camp for Grades K-6 - Register(link is external) now for the Tech Adventure Camp hosted for three, one-week sessions. Students have the opportunity to explore STEAM, culinary, health, trades, business and marketing areas.   • Elementary Institute for the Arts (EIFTA) for Grades 2-5 - Register(link is external) now for the arts program, which offers four, one-week summer enrichment programs. Students take part in four classes every day related to dance, music, theatre, and visual art.   • Institute for the Arts (IFTA) for Grades 6-11 - Register(link is external) now for the arts program, which offers two or four-week summer enrichment programs. Students select from a variety of classes, including art, dance, music and theatre.   • Camp Fairfax- Families with a SACC account can login to SACC Registration Online (dynaxys.com) to view current services and request to add or cancel weekly Camp Fairfax sessions. Families new to SACC and Camp Fairfax can access SACC Registration Online (dynaxys.com) to create an account and submit a request for services for Camp Fairfax 2023.
  • Fairfax County 4H- Camp date: July 2 - 6, 2023 Fairfax County 4-H camp is held at the Northern Virginia 4-H Center, this overnight camp is for campers ages 9-13, as well as an opportunity for high schoolers to become counselors. Camp offers several classes choices for the week. Our five-day, four-night camp, provides a learning experience that will last a lifetime. Fairfax County 4-H provides a leadership opportunity to teen volunteers 14 and up to serve as camp counselors. These teens, as well as adult volunteers, 4-H staff, complete trainings and are tested on core concepts before camp. Our staff is trained according to the American Camp Association requirements.   • Rec Pac- Rec-PAC is a six-week, structured recreation program operated by the Fairfax County Park Authority for elementary school children. Participants enjoy activities such as fitness, indoor and outdoor games, team sports, nature, crafts, special events, talent shows and play sessions. Weekly activities incorporate character-building activities. A ratio of at least one staff person to 18 participants is our standard. Our enthusiastic leaders include college students and school teachers who bring a variety of skills.
